East Coast Vacation

We went to Philadelphia for my brother's graduation. While we were there we drove to New York City which is only 1.5 hrs away. Then we got to visit where McKay served his mission. Washington D.C. South Mission, which is mainly northern Virginia. Philly was so fun and we love that it is so close to these other places. Here are a few pics from the trip!

For some reason Malie was so excited to be on the airplane. She loves to point at airplanes in the sky, but I don't know if she really knew what was going on.

We flew to Philly to see my brother Kipp graduate from dental school. Thanks Kipp and Jodee for letting us stay 6 nights in your home!

Thanks Mom and Jodell for watching Malie and Chaplen so that John, Kaeli, McKay and I could go to New York City. Malie and Chaplen had lots of fun with their cousins Lakai and Cohen.

We drove an hour to Staten Island and then jumped on the ferry to NYC. This is us on the ferry with the Statue of Liberty in the background.

We thought the subway was fun!

  1. How fun, Lani! I bet you loved visiting Mckay's mission. I've always wanted to do that with David.

My sister lives in Philly! I wonder if they are in the same ward? Don't you just love it there? So many states that can be traveled in a few days. I love New York too! Glad you had a blast with your adorable little family. malie is the cutest!
